Hi everyone!
Today's card was inspired by the awesome sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!
The sketch worked perfectly with my new feather stamp set by Papertrey Ink. I masked, sponged & added watermarks to the rectangle, stamped and die cut the feather, popped it up on black fun foam to add dimension. Attached to a piece of black cardstock and added the little bow to finish it off.
Wanted to share a sneak peek of my card for this week's challenge over at StampNation.
This week was a fun inspiration photo to welcome spring to those in the Northern Hemisphere.

ReplyDeleteOh Kristie, I absolutely love your first card design and how the shading continues onto the feather. And your sneak peek of your SN card look super cute.

Beautiful sympathy card. The water colored/droplet panel is so pretty - the perfect backdrop for the 'zentangle' feather! The baby card looks adorable! Totally loving the polkie dot birdie!
ReplyDeleteI love your take of the sketch with this beautiful sympathy card, Kristie! Wow!

You are right - great minds think alike ;) - your card is gorgeous, but I am not telling you anything new here. I really like that you die cut that feather and popped it up - so neat with the little bit of black showing!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is gorgeous! I love your fabulous take on the sketch, Kristie!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed this one my friend, but it is just beautiful! I love your ink blending and I love how you made the feather part of the ink blending and part black and white. Stunning effect and makes for a very nice sympathy. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning!!! WOW!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
ReplyDeleteVery modern sympathy card. This is nice because it's not too sad-looking, if you know what I mean-- sometimes I hesitate on sending sympathy cards because I feel scared that I'll bring on a downer when the grievers are having a better day... you know what I mean? This is nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, Kristie! Love your choice of colors!
ReplyDeleteWonderful take on the sketch, Kristie! Love the colors, too!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
