My card for today is for Muse challenge and Freshly Made Sketches. My sweet bloggy friend, Michele is the Muse this week and she created a beauty. I knew I just had to join in. Instead of using yellows and grays, I decided to use yellows and black. Here is Michele's gorgeous card:
The sketch at Freshly Made sketches:
I used my MISTI to stamp the butterfly (LOVE these butterflies) from Altenew! Well, that is all from me for now. Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
Stamps: Basic Backgrounds & Borders 2 (Clearly Whimsy)
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry (SU)
Paper: Black, International Bazaar DSP (SU)
Accessories: Stitched Mats: Rounded rectangles (Lil' Inker)

Oh this is really beautiful! I find, that yellow and black is a real challenging color combination because projects get easily overloaded when using them. But you've created such a soft and springlike look here. That's really amazing. Congrats to your win at Freshly Made Sketches. You've well deserved it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the well-deserved honor from FMS, Kristie! This is so pretty!! Hugs, Darnell
