StampNation Beach Vacation Blog Hop



Hi everyone!  Today we are kicking off the StampNation Summer Beach Vacation event with a Blog Hop. Each of the StampNation Dream Team members, along with some of our crafty friends, are hopping along sharing cards inspired by our first challenge, "Beach Style", as well as a peek at our favorite projects from the event!

Here's my card for the first challenge:


I used the fun Joy Ride die from My Favorite Things to create my yellow car.  Love all the little details with this die.  The back seat is filled with items for the beach, beach ball, flip flops, sunscreen, towel, book, etc...  Is this what your car looks like when you head for the beach?  The "sand" is a piece of cork cut out using the Stitched Borders 1 Dies from Pretty Pink Posh.

    My favorite so far...I started in the middle and am nearly finished, so thats saying a lot. The overflowing items in the car are hysterical and a reminder to all us over packers!

    Fabulous! Love the paper piecing...and yes, that is what our van often looked like headed to the beach. Then we'd come home with sand that took a year to get out of the laundry room.

    What a fun card. We just made a "road trip" to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.. we would've loved to spend time at the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan, but it was a tad bit chilly. thanks for sharing this fun card. ~ Pam

    Second blog and already seeing the trend of flip flops, wore those and moccasins growing up on a lake in northern MN as a kid when I wasn't riding my horse or out water skiing. Great card.
