Hi friends. I am popping in real quick today with a card that fits 4 challenges. Love it when that happens and it hasn't happened to me in a long time. I used the colors from Colour Me!, Marion Vagg's card at Muse, Addicted to CAS is looking for Off the Edge and CASology's cue word is flower. PHEW!!!
I am off to take my oldest son driving. Need to get those hours in so he can take his test for his license. Tonight is his last night of Driver's Ed. I can't believe he will be driving by himself soon.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
Cardstock: White, Primrose Petals
Ink: Early Espresso, Soft Pool (Hero Arts)
Stamps: Label Love (Altenew)
Accessories: Chevron cover plate (PTI), Spring Flower Dies(Lil' Inker)
Love your card! So much texture!! Can't imagine my girl to drive a car by herself one day - can't imagine her going to school soon!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your take on Marion's card Kristie! Looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove the inlaid chevron and that gorgeous bloom!
ReplyDeleteYou combined those challenges well, Kristie. It's a great card.
ReplyDeleteLook at you and all these challenges! Lovely card - love how you used the cover plate! So glad you joined us at CASology and Muse this week!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad all these challenges lined up for you, Kristie, and thank you for choosing the Off the Edge challenge at ATCAS as one of them! It's a really beautiful card!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteKristie, you know your children are growing up when they are ready to take their driving test!!! I love your take on the challenge this week. The chevrons with the offset flower and leaves are fabulous. So glad you joined us at ATCAS this week

I think you've got a winner here. This card is fantastic and you've nailed all of these challenges! Children driving is a tough. We want them to have their independence, yet we don't want them to grow up so fast. Sigh. Just keep cherishing them, as I know you already do! Bev
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! Love the textures from the die cut background. And the flower is lovely in this, Kristie! Good luck on your son's driving lessons! Kids do grow up...there is no stopping in that (sigh).
ReplyDeleteAh. Hope the driving is going well! I know how it feels! Live your card especially the touch of chevron.
ReplyDeleteI love the chevron and the flower and it's great when a card works for 2 challenges, let alone 4. That doesn't happen very often. Have fun with your son driving. I've done it three times now. All I can say is don't let them rush to get their license. Make sure you feel they are ready. Mom's know best as I told all 3 of my kids!
ReplyDeleteYes!! lots of challenges! Wonderful inlaid chevrons!!
