CAS-ual Fridays Challenge

Hi friends.  I was in need of a masculine birthday card for a friend.  When I saw the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays, I knew it would be perfect.  The challenge is to use a CAS-ual Friday stamp set and the color blue.   I used 3 different shades of blue and 2 different CAS-ual Friday stamp sets, Bold Wishes & Big Thanks.  It is hard to see in the photo but I embossed the sentiment using black embossing powder.

    Kristy...this is so "mod"....you are far too young to remember this word....right around the 'coo'l & 'groovy man' era!

    And speaking of 'groovy MAN'....this is the best guy card ever! I LOVE the bold embossed sentiment and how well the two stamps came together for a perfect fit! Nice touch with the one rounded corner!

    Love this card--I've been peeking all week at that CASual Fridays blog, wondering when I'll get a chance to play, and this card has caught my eye every single time. I really love it--so cool how there are little dots inside some of the circles.

    How did I miss this card, Kristie? I just found you on the cas-ual Fridays challenge blog and it led me here. :) I really like the contrast of the true blue with aqua blue you have going on here. Just yesterday I was looking for a stamp set with solid circles and I don't have one. Now I know where to get one.
