THINKING OF YOU

 

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  How about a bright, rainbow thinking of you card.  I think this would be a great card to send to someone who suffers from seasonal depression.  I know lots of people who struggle with this in the North East.  I may be one of those people.  The winters are so long up here and it gets dark so early.  Not a lot of sunshine happening up here either.  Anyway, I think this card would definitely brighten someone's day, don't you?!

For the stripes I took out my Copics and just drew lines across the panel of card stock.  Easy peasy!  I then used some Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter on the snowflake and the edges of the card stock layer.  I embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder on a strip of vellum.

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I'm sharing another card today using Catherine's Winter Wonders Collection that is now available in the shop.  I stamped and white heat embossed a bunch of the snowflakes from the Scrolling Snowflakes stamp set and die cut them out using the coordinating dies.  I then ink blended over top to add color.  I love using emboss resist on these snowflakes.  They are so pretty.

I arranged the snowflakes across the top of my card and then stamped the sentiment onto my card base and die cut the greetings sentiment and added that to my card.  To add some sparkle, I added some Aspen sequins.

WINTER WONDERS COLLECTION AVAILABLE TODAY!!!

 

Hi friends!  Today's release day for Catherine's Winter Wonders collection!  The release goes live in the shop this morning November 10th at 9 AM EST.  The new products are linked at the end of this post, but please note that the links will not be live until ordering opens.  

I've got another card to share with you all today using the gorgeous Scrolling Snowflakes stamp set & the awesome .75" Circle Template Stencil.  I used the stencil to get perfect placement of the snowflake!

I placed the stencil on my card panel at an angle.  I stamped the snowflakes in Cove Blue and then move my stencil and stamped the snowflakes using Twilight.  I used direct to paper to get a strip of Cove Blue card stock.

I white heat embossed one of the snowflakes and die cut it out.  I then ink blended Twilight ink over top and added it to my card with a sequin in the center.  I stamped the sentiment using Cove Blue ink and that finishes this card.

I created another one while I had my supplies out.  This time using Pink Champagne ink and a bigger snowflake as well as a different sentiment.

I used direct to paper again to create a strip of Twilight card stock.  I love using Catherine's inks for this technique.

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  The Winter Wonders Collection is available today at Noon ET for StampNation members.  It will be available tomorrow for everyone!

I'm sharing another card today using the Scrolling Snowflakes stamp set & the Winter Frames Slimline Dies.

I stamped the snowflake across the card panel using rainbow colors & stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink.  I then took the smaller frame and die cut it from the stamped panel.  I adhered that to my card with dimensional adhesive and adhered the other pieces flat with liquid glue.

I absolutely love the gorgeous detail on these frame dies.  So pretty!
