Hi friends!  Make a Wish is the newest collection to come to Catherine Pooler Designs.  Sneak peeks of this collection have already begun!  The collection releases July 13th at noon for StampNation members and July 14th for everyone!

This collection begins with four new inks to round out the Beach Retreat Collection...

I'm sharing a super simple, and easy to create birthday card using the new Serene ink color.

This is such a gorgeous purple color and look how amazing the Ink Splat Background stamp looks stamped in this color!  So fun!  

I stamped the background stamp onto my card panel and then trimmed it down.  I then stamped the big happy birthday sentiment from Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set using midnight ink.  I mounted this onto my card base and that's it!  You could make a set of birthday cards using the new ink colors and the previously released Beach Retreat colors.  Would make a great gift for someone!

These four hues are going to transport you to a beach retreat with these calm and rich, muted Spa colors. Beach Retreat also includes Sea Glass, Bay Breeze, Tranquil and Cove Blue.

The first bundle was revealed today, it's called the Doxie Party Bundle.

I didn't create with this bundle, but I have a card to share with you using the new ink colors.

I used direct to paper to make my own colored card stock and cut the card stock into strips.  I glued then to a piece of copy paper and trimmed it out with the Postage Stamp die.

I die cut one of the Vines from the Perfect Vine Die from Vellum and adhered that to my panel.  I stamped the sentiment onto the panel and added a small twine bow and some Crater Lake Sequins.

NEW INK COLORS COMING FROM CATHERINE POOLER

Hi friends! Catherine Pooler Designs is releasing another 4 colors in the Beach Retreat Ink color line!  Yesterday Catherine shared the first two new colors, Serene & Sparkling Berry Inks. Today she shared the last two new colors, Clay Mask & Merlot. 

Yesterday I shared a card set using the first two new colors and today I'm sharing the same design using the new colors Merlot & Clay Mask.  I kept the design the same, just used a different sentiment on each card.  

On yesterday's cards, I kept the cards monochromatic.  On these cards I put the opposite color flower on the background.  Either way looks great.

NEW INK COLORS COMING FROM CATHERINE POOLER + INK SIDE LABELS

Hi friends! Catherine Pooler Designs is releasing another 4 colors in the Beach Retreat Ink color line!  I always get so excited about a new ink release!  Today Catherine shared the first two new colors, Serene and Sparkling Berry Inks.  

I created a set of cards to give to a friend for her birthday using the new colors.  I used the Sketch Plaid background stamp, postage stamp dies, the Damask Floral set and coordinating dies, & sentiments from the Thoughtful Phrases stamp set.

These were super simple to put together.  I created these 4 cards in about a half an hour.

Gotta use all the leftover pieces, right?!!

And...in other big news, you will also be able to purchase side labels for your inks with this next release!  Yay!!

I'm so excited for these.  Mine are on their way to me.

LIFE IS A STORY...

Hi friends!  I created another card using the Making Waves background stamp colored in with Copics.  I've created a few cards using this background stamp and coloring it in like this.  You can look back on my blog to check them all out.  This is a super simple card to create.  I die cut a circle from my card front and adhered it over top the colored background.

I then die cut some rectangles to stamp my sentiments on and adhered them to my card.  The sentiment is an old one from Papertrey ink.  It's got lots of great sentiments that mix and match on the die cuts.
