Clearly Whimsy April Release - Day 1

**This is my second post for today.  Click HERE or scroll down for my  Merry Monday post.**

Hi everyone!
Welcome to Day 1 of Clearly Whimsy's April Release.  Each day this week our design team and special guests will be sharing the new products and on Wednesday, April 13th customers will be able to purchase them from the Whimsy Stamps Store.
Today we are featuring the adorable Baby Animals and coordinating dies.

Isn't this giraffe just the cutest?!  I recently saw a cute baby outfit with a gray and mint green giraffe on it and knew I had to recreate it using these stamps/dies.  I stamped the image onto gray card stock and then mint green card stock.  Did some paper piercing to create the look.  It was a bit tedious cutting all the little dots on the giraffe, but oh so worth it, don't you think?!!!  I trimmed down my panel and added it to my card base which I stamped using the previously released Get in Line stamp set.  Added the twine at the top to finish it off.

Be sure to pop over to the Whimsy Stamps blog each morning to see a peek at the creations with links to the designers blogs.

We will have chances to win prizes all week long as well! We hope you will join in Monday, April 11th through Friday, April  15th for all the new release festivities!

Thank you for visiting and see you again tomorrow for more cards using the new release.

Merry Monday #200

Hi everyone!

We are celebrating Merry Monday's 200th Challenge.
We have all chosen a Guest Designer to join us for this challenge.

This week we have a MULTI-Challenge! You are welcome to choose one of the 4 choices....Snowman Theme, Sketch, Colours or Inspiration

I chose the Snowman Theme.

My lovely guest is
Maureen Merritt from Mama Mo Stamps.

I absolutely love every single card Mo makes and I am not just saying that because she is a good friend.  ;)  I have learned SO much about Clean & Simple card design from her posts on her blog and also from her videos and lessons in The Classroom on StampNation which is where we "met".   So happy to have her guesting with me this week!  Make sure you go check out her blog to see lots of CAS eye candy.  Thank you for being my guest, Mo!!!!

Make sure you check out the other DT members cards & their guests over at the Merry Monday challenge blog.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Stamps:   Snowman (Hero Arts)

Praying for you

Happy Friday friends.
I have been a bit quiet this week on my blog, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy behind the scenes.  :)  Working on some upcoming releases.  I also went away last Sunday to the Heirloom's Allentown Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival in PA.  I met up with some StampNation friends and was lucky enough to meet Cornelia from Stemple Spass.   It is always so much fun meeting bloggy friends in real life.

Here are a couple photos.

My card for today is for Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday: Color Isolation.  This was fun.  I stamped the feather using Soft Stone ink then die cut one and colored it using Zig Markers using the colors over at ColourQ.

I also posted my most recent Trends Article on StampNation today.
Here is a peek at one of my cards.

Any guesses what I featured this month?  ;)

Hope

Happy Saturday everyone!
Today's card uses the Hand Lettered Encouragement stamp set and the fun Pierced Border Trio Die set by Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

I added tone on tone stamping to the pink panel.  Love this effect and these encouraging sentiments.  Sprinkled a few sparkly clear sequins to finish off the card and add some sparkle.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
