Merry Monday #94

Happy Monday friends.  I am back with this week's Merry Monday challenge.  This weeks challenge is to create a Christmas card and use stocking(s) on it.  Isn't that little Hedgehog the cutest and those stockings, of course?!

This card was so easy to create using the Snow Festival DSP by SU!   There were 12 of these cute squares with different designs on them and I knew I would never use the paper as a 12 x 12 piece so I decided to cut it up and make some cards. I am trying to use up my "hoarded" DSP!  :)

I hope you will join us for this week's Merry Monday challenge.  Make sure you visit the Merry Monday blog to see the rest of the beautiful cards from the Design Team members.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!!

Dazzling Diva Challenge

Happy Saturday friends.  My card today is for the Dazzling Diva challenge - Anything Goes.  My nephew's birthday is coming up on the 6th and thought the metal was the perfect touch for his card.  I used the black and Scarlet Red metal sheets.  I also followed last week's sketch over at Retro sketches.  I knew I wasn't going to make that challenge but wanted to use the sketch anyway.  Here is the inspiration photo and sketch.

This week's StampNation challenge was an inspiration photo challenge.  Here is a sneak peek of my card.

I absolutely LOVE the inspiration photo Maureen chose.  It is stunning.  I would encourage you to check out StampNation if you aren't a member yet.

We are coming up to 400 video tutorials, bimonthly trends articles (written by me!), Technically Speaking (taught by Chupa!) and the most kind, encouraging & supportive community!!!

I'd love to see you there!  Click here to learn more about StampNation membership benefits!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!!

Online card class Day 1 & 2!

Hi friends!  I had some time yesterday afternoon to get a bit caught up on my homework for Online Card class days 1 and 2.  For my first card I used the Antler Snowflake stencil that Monica at Add a Little Dazzle carries in her online store.  For my misting I used my spritzer tool and marker.  It worked quite well and I was happy with the result.  I followed the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch!

Here is my card for Day 2.

For this card I used the tracing technique that Kristina shared.  I created my own stencil using Papertrey's Chevron Vertical cover plate.  For my colors I used SU's watercolor pencils.  I followed the sketch at Seize the Sketch.

ETA:  My card also fits over at CASology.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Merry Monday #93

Hi friends.  Time for another Merry Monday challenge.  This week we want you to use an ornament(s) on your Christmas card.

My sequins are from Paulina over at Pretty Pink Posh.  I love how these sequins are flat instead of curved on the edges.  I used a multipurpose adhesive sheet to adhere my sequins.  Some of them weren't sticking well so I just attached those with some glossy accents.

I hope you will join us this week to get a head start on your Christmas cards for 2014.  Make sure you check out the other DT members cards over at the Merry Monday challenge blog.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Cardstock:  Whisper White
Accessories:  Holiday Ornament framelits, sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Merry Christmas die (SSS), Stitched rectangles (Lil' Inker), White ribbon
