PINEAPPLE BIRTHDAY WISHES

Hi everyone!  I have a fun birthday card to share with you all today using the gorgeous pineapple stamp by Catherine Pooler!  I used a fun watercolor with re-inkers technique to color the pineapple.  I love how vibrant the colors are when using the re-inkers.

The background was stamped using the Wild Thing background stamp & a sentiment from Papertrey Ink.

TODAY YOU ARE 19!!

Hi friends!  Sharing this card today for my daughter's birthday!  How can she be 19 already?!  Time sure does fly by.

I CASEd Lisa Harrolle's awesome card HERE!  Instead of Lisa's flip flops, I used candles and changed out the hello word to the Milestone Birthday numbers.

I love that 19 candles fit across the bottom of the card and I could use so many of Catherine's inks in rainbow order.

I will add this over at Seize the Birthday: Anything goes!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & LAST CHANCE SALE!!!

Hi friends!  I hope all my friends in the USA had a great 4th yesterday!  I have a birthday card to share today using the amazing Whimsical Blooms stamp set and the Flourish & Whimsy stencil along with some Tickle embossing glitter.

I die cut a bunch of the Whimsical Blooms and then got to work stamping in different colors.  This bloom uses Pixie Dust and then the detail layer was embossed using the Tickle embossing glitter.  The stem was stamped using Garden Party ink.

For the bottom of my card, I masked and sponged using Pixie Dust ink and my life changing blending brushes.  After the ink blending was finished I placed the stencil over top and pounced my versamark ink pad through the stencil and then embossed using the Tickle embossing glitter.

I did forget to use my powder tool before I sprinkled the embossing glitter over top and Catherine's ink stay wet a bit longer than regular dye inks, so I got some extra embossing where I didn't want it originally.  In the end I left it because it just added a bit more interest to the bottom.  :)

I stamped the sentiment and then added some black and white twine to finish it off.

Here's another one I did using Fiesta Blue on the bottom and the same Tickle embossing glitter.

I remembered to use my powder tool on this one.

I will add the top card over at Seize the Birthday.

HELLO SUNSHINE

Hi friends!  I have a super quick and simple card to share with you all today using the Scatter Sunshine stamp set.

I had yet to stamp a full sun with this set and decided today was the day!  I used some of the single lines to fill in the rays to create a fuller sun.  The middle of the sun was created by using direct to paper with Tiara ink and then die cutting a circle from the colored paper.  I then used my Wanderlust embossing glitter on it to create shine like I did on THIS CARD!

Love the shine this embossing glitter gives.  I stamped a simple hello sunshine sentiment and mounted the panel on a piece of black card stock to add a border and then added the whole panel onto my card base.

Thank you for visiting and have a sunshiny day!
