Clearly Whimsy May Release - Day 3

Hi everyone!
Welcome to Day 3 of Clearly Whimsy's May Release.   This week our design team and special guests will be sharing the new products.  The new products are now available to purchase from the Whimsy Stamps Store.

Today's card features Punny Message.


I just love this adorable elephant and the sentiment!  So fun!  I had to paper piece the plaid on the middle elephants ear to bring in more of the plaid from the paper strip on the bottom of the card.

Merry for Muse: Christmas Visions

**This is my second post for today.  Please scroll down to see Day 2 of Clearly Whimsy May Release post.**


Hi everyone!
For this week's Muse: Christmas Visions challenge, Kimberly provided us with a very festive card with sparkly silver and red accents.  I took those two elements to create this card.  I sponged the peppermint using a stencil from Simon Says Stamp.  The merry is from Wplus9 & the scallop & stitched rectangle are from the Birthday Journal Card die from the SOA Young at Heart collection.  A pretty quick and easy card to put together.

Clearly Whimsy May Release - Day 2

Hi everyone!
Welcome to Day 2 of Clearly Whimsy's May Release.   This week our design team and special guests will be sharing the new products and on Wednesday, May 11th customers will be able to purchase them from the Whimsy Stamps Store.

Today we are featuring Punny Message, Sweetest Birthday & Shaker Birthday Die.



My first two cards feature the cute mints from the Punny Message stamp set.  I just had to create two cards using the small stamp and then the bigger stamp.  I love that when you stamp them side by side like this they are holding hands.  So cute!   Love the mix of fonts on the sentiment.  I will have more cards to share on Wednesday using more of the stamps in this set.  Stay tuned.



This card features the fun cupcake and birthday word die from the Shaker Birthday die set.  The sentiment is from Sweetest Birthday.  I used a piece of Patterned paper by PTI on my card to highlight the cupcake and make it the focal point of my card.  Can you see the sparkle I added to the frosting?  Used my wink of stella pen.

Clearly Whimsy May Release - Day 1


Hi everyone!

Welcome to Day 1 of Clearly Whimsy's May Release.   This week our design team and special guests will be sharing the new products and on Wednesday, May 11th customers will be able to purchase them from the Whimsy Stamps Store.

Today we are featuring  Playful Pups, Add on set & From a Friend stamp set along with Hand Stitched Borders.


I think this little pup is just so cute!  I stamped him/her onto white card stock then colored in the big spots on the ears with my Zig Marker.  I stamped the adorable paw print onto the red card stock to create my own patterned paper.  Super cute and fun!




This card features one of the amazing sentiments in the From a Friend stamp set.  I masked and blended some distress inks for my center panel.  I then stamped the vines from previously released Hand Lettered Encouragement in the coordinating distress ink colors.  Added some water marks for some interest. I then removed the masks and used the stitched borders to create a fun frame around the masked/inked center.  Mounted it onto a black card base to finish it off.

Merry Monday #204


Hi everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week Deanne challenges us to use white, kraft, & woodgrain on our Christmas cards.


I started my card by embossing the wood grain pattern onto the white card stock.  I used a die from Lil' Inker Designs.  Stamped and embossed the snowflake and sentiment using white embossing powder.  The happy die is from the SOA Holiday Magic collection.  I made another card using the same design just changing out the white wood grain to kraft.
