HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Hi Friends!  Today's card uses the amazing Playful Pinwheels Cover Plate Die and the At the Fair stamp set.  I die cut the cover plate die and adhered it to my card base.  I love using cover plate dies like this to add texture to your background.  

I stamped and die cut the Ferris Wheel stamp twice so I could stamp the cars in different colors and die cut them and adhere them over top the Ferris Wheel.  I stamped a lighter color on the top of the car and a darker color on the bottom of the car.  This is super easy to do with the stamp as they are spaced apart enough you don't need to mask at all.  Just use the edge of your ink pad to ink up the top and then the edge of the ink pad to ink up the bottom.  I used blender pens and the same color inks as the cars to color in the center of the Ferris Wheel.  I love this in rainbow colors!

Hi friends!  I've got another card using the Fair Play Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I used the fun Blue Ribbon Patterned paper on this card for my background.  I added a piece of white card stock at an angle.

I added the popcorn bucket and pretzel to the white panel and stamped the sentiment.  How adorable is this pretzel stamp?!

Hi friends!  Today's release day for Catherine's FAIR PLAY Collection, featuring Cotton Candy ink!

Here's the card I am sharing in the Insta Hop!  I love Cotton Candy paired with Twilight ink!  So fun!  I adore this Ferris Wheel stamp and these popcorn buckets filled with popcorn.

To add a bit of sparkle to my card, I added some glue to the pink stripes on the popcorn buckets and sprinkled some of the new Cotton Candy Sparkles glitter over top!  So fun!

Hi friends!  Today (at noon EST) is early ordering day for the FAIR Play Collection for StampNation members! This is just one of the many perks of being a member. I stamped the Ferris Wheel stamp using white pigment ink on kraft card stock.  I stamped it again on another piece of kraft card stock so I could die cut the cars and pop some of them up on the Ferris Wheel.  I glued the green ones down and popped up the Aquatini ones.

I used direct to paper to color the kraft card stock so I could die cut the Fair letters.  I cut the background layer from kraft and adhered the colored letters.  I love the detail on this die.

FAIR PLAY COLLECTION COMING SOON!!!

 

Hi friends!  The newest collection from Catherine Pooler Designs, FAIR Play, featuring Cotton Candy ink,  will be available this week!  StampNation members get to order early tomorrow, May 16th.  General ordering opens on Wednesday, May 17th.

My card features the Fair Play Bundle.  I stamped the Cotton Candy using Pixie Dust, Cotton Candy and Oh Boy! inks.  I dry embossed the background using the Playful Pinwheels Cover Plate Die.

After stamping the sentiment using Midnight ink, I used Cotton Candy ink to color my strip of card stock and then I applied a strip of two tape over top and then sprinkled the Cotton Candy Sparkle Glitter over top.  I love this chunky glitter.  It's so fun!

I am in love with this Ferris Wheel stamp and the sentiments that go along with it.  I grew up going to our local Fair in the next town over from us.  It was always the highlight of our Fall.  Our fair was always in September.  This stamp set brings back some fond memories.

I love that you can stamp the Ferris wheel cars in different colors or you could stamp them all the same color.  There are also dies that cut out the whole Ferris Wheel and a small die that cuts out the cars.  So fun!

The first bundle revealed today is the At The Fair Bundle.

My card features the Admit Two stamp set & the Playful Pinwheels Die.  I used the die cut pieces from the Playful Pinwheels Die to create fun texture on the bottom of my card.  I then stamped and die cut three pinwheels and popped them up on my card.

I added the sentiment and some Crater Lake Sequins to the center of each pinwheel to finish off this card.
