HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARDS

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I've got some birthday cards to share using the amazing Parasols & Pagodas patterned paper pack and the Origami Cheers stamp set & coordinating dies.

I love the colorful piece of paper with the parasols on it and chose two coordinating pieces with more of a solid color.  I used the Scallops and Dots dies to cut the paper and added a white heat embossed sentiment on a black banner.  I stamped and die cut the origami flower from white card stock and adhered to my cards.

I really love how these turned out.  On this set, I also used the scallop die to add another layer.  These came together pretty quickly and now I have 4 birthday cards to add to my stash.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

 

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  I'm back today sharing a CAS birthday card using the Parasols & Pagodas Patterned Paper Pack & the Lantern Festival Stamp Set.  The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set.

I trimmed a piece of the beautiful patterned paper and adhered that to my card base.  I then used the Scallops & Dots Dies to create my focal point.  

I stamped and die cut the lantern and the coordinating bits and bobs and adhered them to my die cut panel and then stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink.  I chose to stamp the lantern using Juniper Mist ink and added a Lemongrass flower.  You could certainly make a set of these and change up the color of the lantern and also use a different lantern.

TWO CARDS USING PATTERNED PAPER!

 

Hi friends!  I've got a couple super simple cards to share today using the Parasols & Pagodas Patterned Paper Pack.  I love when patterned papers are so pretty to just use by themselves with a simple sentiment.  These two patterns do just that.

On the first card I used a Happy Birthday sentiment and on the second card a Happy retirement sentiment.  You could definitely switch the sentiment on these cards and they would both work.

THREE CARDS USING THE LANTERN FESTIVAL STAMP SET & PARASOLS & PAGODAS PATTERNED PAPER

Hi friends!  I've got three clean and simple cards to share using the Lantern Festival Stamp set & the Parasols & Pagodas patterned paper pack.  I chose three pieces of the patterned paper and stamped the lanterns in the coordinating colors & die cut them out.  I cut strips of the paper and glued it onto my card base.

I used the Scallops & Dots Dies to create the focal point panel.

I stamped a different sentiment on each card from the Lantern Festival stamp set.

I attached each lantern with dimensional adhesive to add a bit of dimension.

CONGRATULATIONS

 

Hi friends!  I'm back today with another card using the Global Adventure Pt. Deux Collection from Catherine Pooler.  I used the Origami Cheers stamp set and the Fan Dance Background stamp.  I used the direct to paper technique to color my card stock and then stamped the butterfly image in Midnight ink over top the colored card stock.  I die cut them out and set them aside.

I stamped and heat embossed the Fan Dance Background stamp using Silver Pearl embossing powder.  I love the subtle texture this gives the background.  I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black card stock and popped it up on my card.

COLOR HUES #33 - SILVER & WHITE!!!

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #33!  This time we are challenging you to use Silver & White for your card or project.

I used this gorgeous Paper Lantern Die from Catherine Pooler Designs Global Adventure Pt. Deux Collection along with the Fan Dance Background Stamp and the sentiment from the Lantern Festival stamp set.  I die cut the lantern from silver card stock and then another one from white card stock.  I cut the white one and added it over top the silver so I had a white lantern and silver topper and hanger.

I white heat embossed the Fan Dance Background stamp onto my card base for some added interest.  I added some Tinseltown sequins to finish off my card.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHERINE!!!!

 

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  It's Catherine Pooler's birthday today and this is the card I made for her.  She loves pink snowflakes so some of her creative team decided to celebrate with a Birthday Instahop.  You can start hopping HERE!

I stamped the snowflake onto my white circle die cut using Party Dress ink and then stamped over top using Embossing ink and embossed it with Halo embossing powder for sparkle and shine.  I did the same thing when I stamped the stripes on the background, stamped first with Party Dress and then embossed with Halo.  So this card really sparkles in real life.

You can see more of that sparkle in this close up photo.  I used the Round of Happy die and inked that up with Party Dress ink.

I used one of the lanterns from the Lantern Festival stamp set as well as a piece of paper from the Parasols & Pagodas Patterned paper pack.  I LOVE this piece of paper, it's so pretty!

I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Thoughtful Phrases stamp set on a Sentiment Banner die.  I created a window using a circle die and popped that piece on dimensional adhesive.
