BOOM! POP! MAKE IT HAPPY!!

 

Hi friends!  Happy New Year's Eve!  I'm sharing a fun shaker card using the Cracking Good stamp set!  This is such a fun set to use for many occasions.  I stamped and die cut the two open crackers and set those aside while I worked on the shaker element.  I just used one of the double duty circle die cuts for the shaker part and stamped some of the smaller stamps in the set on the back panel so they show through the circle and add some interest to the shaker element.

I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiments in the set and fussy cut them out and added them to my card.

Hi friends!  I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!  I've got a card to share today using the Cracking Good Stamp set and coordinating dies as well as the Line Dance Background stamp.  I stamped the background stamp in Midnight ink onto my card panel and then trimmed it down to use just a section of it on my card.  I have more sections to use on other cards.  I stamped and die cut the cracker/popper and added it to my card with dimensional adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink and that finishes off this card.

OH BY GOLLY!!

Hi friends!  I've got another Christmas card to share today using the Jack Frost Cover Plate Die and the Jolly Holly stamp set.  I wanted to keep my card clean and simple so I die cut a circle using my circle dies and adhered the Jack Frost Cover plate die cut behind the circle & backed it with black card stock so the design would show up and be bold.

I then stamped and die cut the holly leaves and berries and added them to the bottom of the circle.  I then stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink.

HAVE A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS

Hi friends!  I've got a few more Christmas cards to share with you all today.  I created a bunch of these this year.  The Jolly Holly stamp set is so perfect and I love it so much.  I stamped the holly leaves and berries using Spa colors.  I used my oval dies to create the window and stamped the sentiment inside the oval on kraft card stock.

I also created some using light Spa colors.

Do you like the light or darker spa colors?  I am drawn to the darker ones, but think the lighter ones look great too!

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I have some more inspiration if you need a few more Christmas card ideas.  If you already have your cards done and sent out you can create some of these for next year.  I used the Jack Frost Cover Plate die to dry emboss my piece of black card stock.  I stamped and die cut the holly leaves and berries and attached them to the corner of my card.

I added a sentiment from the Holiday One Liner Sentiments stamp set.  I love the details the dry embossing adds to this clean and simple card.

ELATED!!!

Hi friends!  I've got a couple cards to share with you today using the new Cheers to New Year's Collection just released from Catherine Pooler Designs!  I stamped and white heat embossed the fun Line Dance Background Stamp onto my card stock.  I then ink blended some rainbow colors over the whole piece.  I then trimmed down the panel and adhered it to a piece of black card stock to add a border and then attached it to my card front.

I then die cut the background die from black card stock and the elated word die from white and adhered them together.  I added that to my card and the sentiment from the So Very Elated Sentiments Set.

Here's another card using the left over piece of the background.

These were fun cards to make using the emboss resist technique!

CHEERS TO NEW YEAR'S COLLECTION AVAILABLE TODAY!!!

 

Hi friends!  Today's release day for Catherine's Cheers to New Year's Collection!

The release goes live in the shop this morning December, 7th at 9 AM EST.  The new products are linked at the end of this post.

I used the fun new Line Dance Background stamp on my card base.  I white heat embossed it and then did some ink blending on the bottom of the card to add some color & to bring out the design.  I then used the Ruffles & Dashes Dies to create my main panel where I stamped the sentiment from the Everybody Say Happy Sentiments which has previously been released.  I used direct to paper to make my own Martini card stock.

I then stamped and die cut the party popper and added it to my card panel.  I added some Mykonos sequins to finish off this card.

Hi friends!  Today (at noon EST) is early ordering day for the Cheers to New Year's Collection for StampNation members! This is just one of the many perks of being a member. For today's card I used the Snap Crackle Pop patterned paper to create my background and then used the Ruffles & Dashes Dies to cut out a panel to pop up on my card front.  I then die cut the Elated word die from black card stock and then the top elated word die from white card stock and glued them together.

I then stamped one of the coordinating sentiments from the So Very Elated stamp set onto a strip of white card stock and adhered that under the elated word die.  This is a fun way to use up that patterned paper.

Here's my card for today using the Good Times Bundle!

I created a fun and simple birthday card using a piece of patterned paper and the Cracking Good stamp set.  I trimmed down the patterned paper and attached it to my card base.  I then stamped and die cut the popper using the coordinating colors in the patterned paper.  I popped the popper up using dimensional adhesive and added a sequin to the snowflake to add a bit more interest to this clean & simple card.

The birthday sentiment is from the Everybody Say Happy Sentiments stamp set, which has been previously released.

COLOR HUES #54 - NAVY & CREAM

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #54!  This time we are challenging you to use Navy & Cream for your card or project.  ***Note this challenge will run the entire month of December***

This is also my last post as a Design Team member.  I have been on the team since the challenge started.   I want to send a HUGE thank you to Nancy for inviting me to join the team.  I will miss everyone, but hopefully will be able to play along from time to time.

I thought these colors would work well for a sympathy card, so that's what I created.  I like to create these cards to have on hand so when I need one I am not struggling to come up with an idea quickly and I can just grab a card I already have made and get it in the mail.

I stamped one of the images from the Off the Wall Backgrounds stamp set from Catherine Pooler Designs using Buttercream ink and then I stamped the flourish image from The Greetery using Juniper Mist.

I created a bunch of these while I had my supplies out.

This is a super simple card, but perfect for the coffee lovers in your family!

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I'm back with a fun mini slimline card today using the new Coffee Shop Bundle from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I stamped and die cut some of the to go cups from the Coffee Shop stamp set and set those aside.  I pulled colors from the plaid patterned paper from the Java Fix patterned paper pack.

I adhered the cups to a piece of card stock and stamped the sentiment.
