HAPPY BIRTHDAY SLIMLINE SHAKER CARD!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  I've got a card inspired by the amazingly talented Erin Thompson.  She is a fabulous ink blender and I learned a few tips from watching one of her facebook lives a while back and had to try making a card.  One thing she shared is the paper she uses and I can tell it makes a world of difference.  She uses Bristol Smooth card stock for her ink blending and I can now see why she uses it.  The CP inks blend like butter using this paper.

I used the new goodies from Catherine's Winter Wonders Collection and the Round of Happy die.

I silver heat embossed the Round of Happy die and added Aspen Sequins inside the shaker window.

MERRY CHRISTMAS GIRAFFE

 

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  I've got a fun Christmas card to share today using the Take a Peek stamp set and the Through the Woods patterned paper pack.  This would be a perfect card to mass produce with the different papers in the pack.

I added some clear stickles to the top of the hat and the pompom.

I'm sharing a couple cards using the gorgeous Sweater Weather background stamp & the Merry Christmas Layered Word Die.

I love that this stamp is bigger so you can use it either way on your card.  I created one card landscape and one card horizontal.  On one card I white heat embossed the background stamp and on the other I used Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter.  I used direct to paper & die cut the Merry Christmas Layered Word die.  I also die cut two snowflakes from the Winter Frames Slimline Dies and embossed them with Metallic Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter.

This card has the white heat embossed background.

This one uses the Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter.

So sparkly in real life.

I'm sharing a card using the gorgeous Sweater Weather background stamp.

I stamped and embossed the background stamp onto my card stock panel using Silver Pearl embossing powder.  I love the subtle shine this gives the card.  I then white heat embossed some snowflakes and used emboss resist in rainbow colors over top.  I die cut them out and arranged them on my card.

I stamped the sentiment and that finishes off this card.

COLOR HUES #30 - SILVER & GOLD

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #30!  This time we are challenging you to use Silver & Gold for your card or project.

I created a notecard size card using a slimline cover plate die.  I love being able to use slimline products on notecard size cards and regular A2 size cards.  Catherine made this easy by creating the Notecard Frame & Tags dies.

I used silver embossing powder on the pieces of the snowflakes that were left when I die cut the cover plate & inlaid them back in their spots.  Yes, that took some time to emboss those little pieces.  I enjoyed the process though.

I added gold embossing on the sentiment and gold sequins for the center of the two snowflakes.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  I was inspired by the Fusion Card Challenge this weekend.  I played with the sketch and also got inspiration from the photo.  So fun!!!

I used Catherine's Mosaic Tile dies to create the three triangles.   I stamped a hanging star onto each of the solid triangles using three green inks that match the patterned paper.  I used direct to paper technique to color the outline triangles.

I stamped the sentiment from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set and that finished off my card.

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  I've got a slimline card to share today using the Winter Wonders goodies from Catherine Pooler.  For this card I used the Scrolling Snowflakes stamp set to stamp the snowflakes across the top of my card panel using the colors that coordinate with the Touch of Frost Slimline Patterned Paper pack.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Greetings stamp set using Midnight ink and added that to my card base over top a small strip of the striped patterned paper.  I added some Aspen sequins to the center of each snowflake for some bling!
