Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  I'm popping in quickly today to share a fun thank you card using a candle die.  I grabbed some white card stock and did some direct to paper with Catherine's inks and then used the die from the Make a Wish dies to cut the pieces.  I then adhered them to a scrap piece of white computer paper.  I used a couple circle dies to cut out my shape and then white heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black card stock.

A few Crater Lake sequins finish off this clean & simple card.

MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I've got a slimline card to share today using the Candy Cane background stamp.  I stamped the background stamp using Cranberry Fizz ink.  I trimmed this panel down to fit on my mini slimline card.

I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock and then die cut it using a circle die.  I am going to create a bunch of these using different color ink on the background.

CHRISTMAS IS HERE

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I've got a mini slimline card to share today using the Grandma's Attic Slimline paper pack that Catherine released with her This Christmas collection.  I took this adorable deer piece and trimmed it down to fit my mini slimline design.  I created the perfectly matched card stock layer behind using direct to paper with my Catherine Pooler ink.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of vellum.  I wrapped it around the patterned paper and glued it down.  I love creating Christmas cards like this that come together quickly using adorable patterns like this one!

TIS THE SEASON

 

Hi everyone!  I'm sharing another card today using the Nostalgic Season & Garland Borders stamp sets.  I stamped and silver heat embossed the garland border stamp.  I set that aside and worked on the ornaments.  I stamped them in reds and greens and die cut them out using the coordinating dies.  I embossed the hanger of each one using silver embossing powder.  

I embossed the sentiment as well and used my blender brush to color in the open letters.  This card could easily be mass produced and you could stamp the ornaments in many different color combos.

BRINGING GOOD CHEER

 

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  I've got two Christmas cards today using the Nostalgic Season stamp set & coordinating dies along with the Gradient Diamond stencil from Catherine's This Christmas collection.  

I used white pigment ink on kraft card stock.  I love that you can switch the orientation of the stencil to get a slightly different look on your cards.  The card on the left has the diamonds getting smaller in the middle vertically and the card on the right has the diamonds getting smaller in the middle horizontally.  So cool, right?!!!

I love this darling stocking image too!  It's a multi-step stamp so you are able to create a multi-colored stocking.  This one uses blues and greens and the one below uses pink and green.

I really love the sentiment fonts in this set too!

COLOR HUES #26 - PURPLE & PINK

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #26!  This time we are challenging you to use Purple & Pink for your card or project.

I created a card using Catherine's newest This Christmas collection.  In this collection she released some new dies that make notecard sized cards.  I think this size is so cute and perfect for mass producing Christmas cards.  The size is 3 1/2" x 5".  She released a die to make your own envelopes too.  

I used the ornaments in the Nostalgic Season stamp set.  I stamped and die cut them using pink & purple inks, did some background stenciling with her new Gradient Diamonds stencil.  The sentiment is from an oder set called Jolly Trees.

THIS CHRISTMAS COLLECTION AVAILABLE TODAY!!!

 

Hi friends!  Today's release day for Catherine's This Christmas collection!  The release goes live in the shop this morning September 15th at 9 AM EST.  The new products are linked at the end of this post, but please note that the links will not be live until ordering opens. 

My card features the Nostalgic Seasons stamp set & the Grandma's Attic Slimline Patterned Paper.

These trees with the stars on them are so adorable!  I just love them.  I stamped them across my card using the colors that coordinate with the paper pack, Hot Tub, Spruce & Eucalyptus.  I stamped the sentiment from the set using Midnight ink.

Here's another card using the same stamp set and colors but on a mini slimline card.

For this card, I used the outline stamp for the tree and white heat embossed it and used the emboss resist technique to color them in.  I love the different looks you can achieve with these stamps.  You can also stamp the outline image over top the solid image for a different look.  So three ways you can use this tree image stamp.  So fun & easy!!!

I created a mini slimline card using the Garland Borders stamp set and a sentiment from the Nostalgic Season stamp set.  I masked and stamped each hanging snowflake using Party colors in rainbow order.  This was super simple to do using my MISTI.  

To add a little bit of sparkle to this simple card, I added some stickles to the center of each snowflake.

I created cards using the Nostalgic Season Bundle & some of the products from the This Christmas Essentials bundle.

I absolutely adore the images in the Nostalgic Season stamp set.  This little deer is adorbs!  You can stamp him/her this way straight onto your card stock or use the coordinating die to cut it out and attach it to your card for some dimension.  There is also an outline stamp for this image, but I chose to not use it on this card.  I also love that you can stamp a red nose to mimic "rudolph".  So cute!!!

I stamped the Candy Cane Background stamp using Samba ink and cut a strip for the bottom of my card.  The sentiment was stamped using Midnight ink.  Love the sentiments in the set too!
