YOU'RE A REASON TO CELEBRATE!

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  I'm sharing another birthday card using the Scribble Grid Background stamp in white on kraft card stock.  This time I used the cake from the Birthday Cake Remix stamp set.  I only used the top two layers so my cake was smaller.

I used the Postage Stamp dies to trim down my kraft panel and adhered that to my card base.  I've got another birthday card ready to add to my stash.

YOU'RE A REASON TO CELEBRATE!

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  I've got a fun birthday card to share today using the Scribble Grid Background stamp, the Make a Wish stamp set and 3 of the 4 new Beach Retreat Inks from Catherine.

I started my card by placing the background stamp in my MISTI and used some white pigment ink on the center of the stamp.  I used a sponge dauber to add the ink so it wouldn't cover the whole background & only stamp in the center of the card panel.  After I was satisfied with the white ink, I worked on stamping and die cutting the candles.

I attached the candles to my card panel with dimensional adhesive and stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink.  I trimmed down the kraft card stock on both sides and attached that to my white card base.

IT'S A PARTY

Happy Saturday friends!  I did a little emboss resist on my card today using the Scribble Grid Background Stamp and the Party Word die and the Time to Party Sentiments stamp set.  I stamped and white heat embossed the background stamp onto my panel.  I then blended some Pucker Up & Catching Rays ink to create a colorful background.

I embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder on black card stock and die cut the party word die from black and white card stock.  I adhered them to my background & trimmed that panel down to adhere to my card base.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANDLES

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I've got a birthday card to share today using the Make a Wish stamp set and the amazing Scribble Grid background stamp from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I stamped the background stamp on my card base and set that aside while I worked on the candles.  I die cut a bunch of the candles using white card stock and ink blended green and blue inks on the bottom half only.  I then stamped the happy birthday flames using midnight ink and die cut them out.

I attached the candles & sentiment flames with dimensional adhesive.  I attached a small strip of black card stock to the left of my panel and adhered that to my card base leaving the background stamping showing on the left.   This is a pretty simple, but fun card to create.

LIFE IS A PARTY

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  I've got a fun shaker card to share with you all today using the new Party Word die & Scribble Grid Background stamp from Catherine's new Make a Wish release.  I stamped and white heat embossed the background stamp onto my card base and sponged some Sparkling Berry & Clay Mask ink just in the center where the word die was going to be cut out.  I die cut the word die using the background piece of the die from my card panel.  I then added a clear acetate piece and formed my shaker window.

I used sparkling clear seed beads to fill my shaker.  I added the letters die cut from black card stock and stamped the sentiment before placing any foam tape on the back of the panel.  The sentiment is from the Time to Party Sentiments stamp set.  I added some black and white twine to finish off my card.

COLOR HUES #22 - LIME GREEN & AQUA

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #22!  This time we are challenging you to use Lime Green & Aqua for your card or project.

For my geometric card today, I used the Mosaic Tile Dies to die cut some triangles from colored card stock I had in my stash.  After die cutting them all, I glued them to a piece of copy paper.  I then die cut using the Postage Stamp die.

I stamped and die cut the washi tape from the Desktop Treasures stamp set & white heat embossed the sentiment from the Sincere Thanks stamp set.  This was a fun card to put together and you could make a whole set of these using different colored triangles.

Hi friends!  Today's release day for Catherine's Make a Wish collection!  The release goes live in the shop this morning July 14th at 9 AM EST.  The new products are linked at the end of this post, but please note that the links will not be live until ordering opens.  

I've got a slimline card to share today using the Make a Wish stamp set & coordinating dies.

How fun are these patterned candles & the flames that spell happy birthday?!  I love them so much!  I stamped and die cut the flames using Midnight ink and then stamped the candles underneath each flame.  This design works great on a slimline card.  Think of all the color combinations you can come up with for this design.  I used the new Serene ink and paired it with Tranquil.  So pretty together!

I popped the flame sentiment using dimensional adhesive and matted the main stamped panel with some black card stock and my card is complete.  This card would also be fun with a slimline die cut in white and adhered to the card base.  That would just add a bit more texture and fun to this card.

My card today features the Scribble Grid Background stamp & the Party Word Die with the Time to Party Sentiments stamp set.

I created the rainbow Party sentiment using CP inks and finger daubers.  I stamped the background stamp onto a piece of card stock using Midnight ink and then trimmed off the bottom at an angle and adhered that to my card.  I added a strip of black card stock across the angled panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Time to Party Sentiments stamp set over top the party word die.

I created a card using the Make a Wish stamp set & coordinating dies!

I adore all the patterns on the candles and the flames that say Happy Birthday is an all time favorite of mine!  So cool!  I stamped the candles using the different patterns in rainbow colors, die cut them out and adhered them to my card panel.

I stamped and die cut the flames and popped them up on top of the candles.  The layer is backed with a piece of gold card stock for some pizazz.
