Be Fearless hexagons

Hi everyone!  I am back today with another card using the Tropically Yours Stamp of Approval collection.  This card features the Fearless Pursuit stamp set.  I love the sentiments in this set and the little geometric shapes.

I used the solid hexagon stamp to create some fun stripes on my card.  I love how the colors create new colors when you overlap them.

Hi everyone!  I'm popping in here today with another card using the new Stamp of Approval Tropically Yours Collection.  Have you grabbed yours?!  You have some time before they sell out so grab one HERE!!!

I found an image on Pinterest the other day and just had to create a card using the image as my inspiration.  I started by stamping some of the leaves from Leave me in Paradise in Fiesta Blue.  I then stamped the Hibiscus using Rockin' Red ink.  I love that you can see through the flowers to the leaves.

I then stamped the dots onto the background to fill in.  The sentiment was stamped using Midnight ink.  I really want to create this card using gray leaves and bright pink or coral flowers.  How pretty would that look?!

If you know me well, you know I just had to create flamingos in rainbow colors!!  So fun, right?!!!  I stamped and colored then colored with my Zig Clean color brush markers.  I love the little peek of the border stamped in between the main images and the sentiment.

TROPICALLY YOURS STAMP OF APPROVAL BLOG HOP - DAY 3

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Day 3 of the Tropically Yours SOA Collection Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Tracie's blog.  The complete list is below if you get lost along the way.

The new ink color Coral Cabana is also available in the shop.  This color is so awesome and I used it on my first card today!

My first card features the Tropically Yours & Good Vibes stamp sets along with the Add-on dies for Tropically Yours.

I love these hibiscus flowers in this set.  So pretty.  I need to stamp them out in a bunch of different colors to have on hand and ready to go when I need to make a card.  The cross hatch border stamped along the bottom of my card is pretty awesome too!

My next card features the awesome Cabana Tiles dies & the sentiment from Tropically Yours.

 I die cut a bunch of the cool and unique hexagons out of black card stock and arranged them onto my card front.  After I had them arranged and glued down where I wanted them, I worked on my sentiment.  I used my Zig Clean Color Brush markers to color onto a piece of watercolor card stock.  I then spritzed with water to blend and waited for it to dry.  After dry, I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink.  I popped that up with dimensional adhesive and added some black and white twine.

Now onto my project!

My card features the Good Vibes Borders stamp set, a sentiment from the Tropically Yours stamp set and the Add-on dies for the Fearless Pursuit stamp set.

I masked off the sides of my card and stamped the border using rainbow inks.  After removing the masking tape, I stamped the sentiment and added the die cut palm trees and some black and white twine.

Can you spot the Coral Cabana ink color on my card.  It fits perfectly in the Party Line of inks.  Available in the store on Wednesday.

Now onto my project!

My card uses the Tropically Yours stamp set, the Canvas Grunge background stamp, Good Vibes Border stamp and a sentiment from the Stand Tall stamp set.  

I started my card by clear embossing the Canvas Grunge background stamp onto a piece of midnight card stock.  I LOVE the subtle texture this gives the midnight card stock.  I then stamped and die cut the hibiscus and leaves.  To add a bit of interest and dimension to the flower, I stamped with It's a Boy ink first then used a finger dauber to ink up the center of the stamp using Something Borrowed ink and then stamped again.  This created the darker center.

This close up photo shows the embossed background a bit better.  After adhering the stamped and embossed background piece, I stamped one of the borders from the Good Vibes Borders stamp set and then adhered the flower and leaves.  Stamped the sentiment and added some black and white twine and that finished off my card.

Catherine is also releasing a new ink color that goes perfectly with the Party Line of inks.  It is also THE PERFECT coral color, in my book.  I just love it.  Make sure you remember to add it to your cart when you are checking out as it is not included in the box this time.

ROCK STAR!!!

Hi everyone!  I'm sharing a card today using some products by Catherine Pooler.  My card features her Starlights stamp set and coordinating dies.

I love these stars in rainbow colors.  No surprise there, right?!  ;)  I started my card by die cutting the stitched rectangle from Catherine's Postage Stamp dies.  I then used the dies to cut partial stars from the rectangle piece.

I then lined up the stamps using my MISTI and stamped them onto my card base.  I popped up the die cut rectangle.  Added my sentiment, some black and white twine and some rhinestones in the centers of each star to finish off my card.

Before you go, Catherine has another Stamp of Approval collection coming July 18th!  You can start seeing sneak peeks of the products in the collection on Catherine's blog, You Tube channel, Face book and instagram.

Along with the Stamp of Approval collection, there is also a new ink color releasing the same day.  This new color, which is amazing, will be in the shop on July 18th.  I LOVE this color that goes perfectly with the Carnival Collection in the Party Line of ink.

Get Well Soon

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone in the US had a safe and happy 4th of July yesterday.  I have another card to share with you all today using the Say it With Diamonds stamp set.

I LOVE how bright and vibrant Catherine's inks stamp on her Sand Dunes card stock, don't you?!!!  Amazing!  This is a very simple card that packs such a punch.  I added the white dots to the two images beside the sentiment with my white gel pen.
