Love & Prayers - CP Designs

Hi everyone!  Today I am excited to share with you some new stamps/dies that will be available in Catherine Pooler's new online store.  The store is set to open on June 25th for StampNation members and the 26th to everyone else.  The store will remain open for 5 days when it will close until it's official opening in August!

Most of the products from the first three Stamp of Approval collections will be available as well as FOUR NEW PRODUCTS!

I have used 3 of the 4 soon-to-be released products.   Wild Blooms,  And stamps, as well as the And dies.

I am absolutely in LOVE with Wild Blooms.  This two step stamp is just stunning.  The two stamps can be stamped and layered together like I did here or you can use them separately.   Don't you just love that Ampersand die?!  It is so perfect.  The And stamps have many different sentiments to mix and match.

Eva's Favorite Flowers & Coordinating Dies---YES, please!!!

Hi everyone!  I am super excited to be able to share one of the new products that will be offered in Catherine Pooler Designs online store!  YES, Catherine is opening her own shop this weekend.  She is going to sell the past stamp and die collections that are part of the previous released Stamp of Approval collections!  Super exciting, right? 

The first Stamp of Approval box, the Friendship collection had an amazing stamp set called In Bloom: Eva's Favorite Flowers.  So many awesome flowers to stamp and layer.  It is one gorgeous set and now that it has coordinating dies, it just makes this set so much more versatile!!  I love stamp sets with matching dies, so many more opportunities to get creative and no FUSSY cutting!  I prefer to not fussy cut, if I can help it.

I absolutely love this color combo and went a bit crazy making 3 different cards using these same colors.  :)  I am sharing two today and will share the last one soon. 

Of course, I had to use rainbow colors with black and white.  ;)

Clearly Whimsy June Release - Day 3

Hi everyone!

Welcome to Day 3 of Clearly Whimsy's June Release.   The new products are now available to purchase from the Whimsy Stamps Store.

Today's card features Ocean Journeys, Ocean Journeys Sentiment stamp sets.

I used the previously released Get in Line stamp set to create the stripes on my card base.  I then used the previously released handstitched rectangles dies to create my piece for stamping.  Another sentiment from this set that I love.  I thought the compass fit perfectly with the sentiment.

Clearly Whimsy June Release - Day 2

Hi everyone!

Welcome to Day 2 of Clearly Whimsy's June Release.   This week our design team and special guests will be sharing the new products and on Wednesday, June 8th customers will be able to purchase them from the Whimsy Stamps Store.

Today we are featuring Ocean Journeys , Ocean Journeys Sentiments, Sentiment Banner dies, papers & dots.

Though there are many stamps in this set, my eye was drawn to the anchor.  Could be because my son has enlisted in the Navy.  :)  I also LOVE this sentiment!  So perfect.  I stamped the anchors in red and embossed the sentiment in white on navy cardstock.   If you see the American flag, that is the look I was going for.

This card makes me a little thirsty for some ice cold lemonade.  I stamped the glass onto some Bristol watercolor paper so I could color the image using my Zig Markers.  I die cut it out and set it aside.  For the background I stamped some ink splats from Distress Background & Ink Splats stamp set using Distress inks.  After I had finished stamping the splats, I spritzed lightly with water.  This moved the colors around and created a cool background.  The sentiment is stamped on the fun new Sentiment banner dies.  Love how many different size banners there are in this set.

Clearly Whimsy June Release - Day 1

Hi everyone!

Welcome to Day 1 of Clearly Whimsy's June Release.   This week our design team and special guests will be sharing the new products and on Wednesday, June 8th customers will be able to purchase them from the Whimsy Stamps Store

Today we are featuring Need More & Squeezed Stamp sets and Squeezed dies, papers & dots.

My first card features the Squeezed stamp set and matching dies.  Perfect set for the summer months. I used the different shaped lemons to create my background.  Used the stitched border die on the bottom to get the curve.  Adhered it onto a yellow card base that has the sentiment stamped onto it.  I then stamped the pitcher & die cut it with the coordinating die.  Colored in the lemons and attached it with foam mounting tape.  Added black and white twine to finish it off.

My second card features the Need More stamp set.  Perfect for the coffee and tea lovers out there.  To create my card I decided to do some minor stamp surgery on one of the sentiment stamps in the set.  I wanted to be able to stamp the friends separately on my background and stamp the smaller text up and down on the mug instead of side by side.  I fussy cut the mug and attached it to the card using foam tape.  I love the heart steam stamps in the set.  So fun!

Merry Monday #208

Hi everyone!

Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.

This week Sue challenges us to create a cute/fun Christmas card for a child.

I found some polka dot patterned paper in my stash.  The colors were gray, red and green.  I then found the stamp set I wanted to use, Warmest Wishes by Papertrey Ink.  The penguin is adorable and I think looks so cute in gray with red/green hats.  Sure to bring a smile to a young child's face.

Guesting at Inspired by All the Little Things!

Hi and welcome everyone!  I am super excited to be guesting with the fabulous Inspired by All the Little Things Design Team today!  The super talented and sweet Lesley Croghan invited me.  I love the challenge graphic for this time around.

I was definitely inspired by the bright, bold colors and the bouquet of flowers.

I used the Thanks a Bunch stamp set by Avery Elle for my focal point.  The main bouquet was stamped in pink mimicking the bouquet in the photo.  I added the yellow to the centers using a Copic marker.  I wanted to pull in the navy blue from the dress in the photo and thought adding a rectangle frame would bring that color in nicely without overpowering the whole card.  The little yellow bakers twine bow finishes off my card.
