Happy Birthday

 

Hi friends.  I got some new Papertrey goodies the other day.  The sketch at CAS(E) this sketch! was perfect for the fun new die that was just released.  I am also entering this card at The Play Date Cafe, the colors are black, white and Neon yellow.  My paper is from a Neon pack but it doesn't look as neon to me as the ink does.

Also entering this over at Moxie Fab World : Birthday celebration.

I played around this morning with this sketch and the same supplies but used my ink pad to make my own Neon paper.

Celebrate for Monday Mood Board

Hi friends.  I love Dawn's Monday Mood board for this week.  So graphic and fun.  I knew I wanted to play along.

 I used all of the colors on my card.  I took my main inspiration from the green hexagons on the top left.  I love the bold sentiment from Label Layers 4.

This week was a sketch challenge and it was based off one of the cards I made for one of my trends articles.  Here is the sketch:

This card was for another SN challenge.  The challenge was to use black and white paired with one other color to make a bold statement on your card.  I love this die from Lil' Inkers.

Summer card camp Week 1 Days 3 & 4

Hi friends.  Today's card is for the online Summer Card Camp class.  I actually combined yesterdays and today's lessons in one card.  I love the way Laura Bassen used banners on her card so I decided to mask and stamp my banners.  The challenge for today was to used the colors and make your card in 10 minutes.  I have done this before and the trick (for me)  is to not watch the clock.  haha  I finished this up in 10 minutes on the dot.  PHEW!!!!

Neon tag & Week 1 Day 2

Hi friends.  I created this card for the Moxie Fab Birthday Creations challenge.  As I mentioned in my earlier post, I messed up on my balloon strings a couple of times on my cards but the balloons were stamped perfectly.  I couldn't just throw them away so I die cut one out and used it on this little tag.  :)  I also used my neon inks again.

 

This card is for Day 2 homework.  Joy Taylor shared a simple technique of stamping sentiments on your strips of cardstock.  I CASEd her design only switching out the sentiments and the die cut.  This was fun.

Neon Birthday wishes

Hi friends.  My card today is for Moxie Fab World: Birthday Creations.  The challenge was to follow the sketch and either use all stamping or no stamping on your card.   I chose all stamping.  I also decided to use my Hero Arts Neon inks to participate in CASology's cue word: Neon.

I have to admit that this was my 3rd attempt at this card.  :(  I just could not get the balloon strings right on the first 2.  I was a little challenged.  haha  But, I will be back later today with a tag for yesterdays Moxie Fab challenge.

Hi friends.  I am taking the Summer Card Camp 2 online card class and for our first day we were to use 4 of the 5 colors listed and use one of the three sketches.  I like this sketch and colors so much I made 2 cards.  Here is my second one.
