Christmas card

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday!   I have a quick Christmas card to share with you all today.
I was totally inspired by this gorgeous card by Lydia.

I have been on a Christmas card making kick lately!  Thank goodness, I hadn't made a Christmas card in what seemed like forever.  I know if I don't start now, I will be scrambling come Oct.  I am trying to make at least 4 of the same design, just changing up colors. This card is an easy one to do just that.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and the snowflakes are from CAS-ual Fridays for the SOA Holiday Magic Collection.  The Merry Label Die is also from CAS-ual Fridays for the SOA Candy Cane Lane collection.  The Catherine Pooler ink colors I used are It's a Boy and Something Borrowed.

I am adding this over at Christmas Card Challenges.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Gelatos for Masterclasses

Hi everyone!
The first video was posted over on StampNation for the Masterclasses!

StampNation is bringing you a series of Masterclasses, each focusing on a different topic and taught by master teachers in the industry.

Each Masterclass will consist of:
  • Video tutorials from industry experts
  • Hosted challenges (and prizes!)
  • Live Members-only chats with the designers and companies
Sounds like a fun summer, right?!!!

I was so inspired, I just had to get out my gelatos by Faber-Castell and play with one of the ten techniques that were shared in the first video.

I have played a bit with my gelatos, but have never tried this technique.  It's a fun and very easy one to do.  Want to find out how to do it?  Join StampNation today!

I am adding this over at the Calling All Sistahs Encouragement challenge!  I was inspired by the paint splatters in the photo. :)

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Snowmen Christmas card

Hi everyone!
Happy Monday!

I have a Christmas card to share today.  I am playing along with the challenge at StampNation.  This week's challenge was to use a snowman on your Christmas card.  I haven't made a Christmas card in a while and don't want to be scrambling when it is time to send them out.

I searched through my stash and found some snowmen stamps.  I stamped them in a row, using Archival ink onto Bristol cardstock so I could color in their hats and scarves with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers.  How cute are they in their rainbow hats?  :)  I couldn't capture it in the photo, but I added some glitter to the brims of their hats for some shine.

While I had the supplies out I made 4 of these.  Same design, just colored their hats different colors.

Here is one in traditional green and red.

I am also going to add one of these over at Christmas Card Challenges

Before you go, I wanted to share a bit of excitement that is going to be happening this summer over at StampNation!!!!!

Father's Day Card

Hi everyone!  When I saw this card by my good friend Maureen, I knew I needed to CASE it.

I didn't stray too much from Mo's design.  I changed the colors, sentiment and I placed my stamping in the center of the card instead of off to the side like Mo did.  I didn't add any extras onto my card.  I also made one using Rockin' Red in place of Something Borrowed.  Thank you for the inspiration, Maureen!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
