Merry Monday #164

Hi everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week Nina challenges us to create a Christmas card with a funky hat.

As you can see I was inspired to recreate the hats in the inspiration photo.  I used the Holiday Hats die by Memory box and the Holly dies by Papertrey Ink to dress up the two red hats.  The dots on the green hats were created using enamel accents.  I was inspired by this cards layout.

Make sure you check out the other DT members cards over at the Merry Monday challenge blog. I hope you will join us!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Stamps:  Merry & Bright (My Craft Spot)
Paper:  Pure Poppy, New Leaf, black
Accessories:  Holly die (Papertrey Ink), Stitched Circles (Lil' Inker)

Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone!
I am sharing a card using Clearly Whimsy stamps.  I am still in love with these skunks.  I stamped the checkered border using Basic Backgrounds and borders 2 in versamark then heat embossed with clear embossing powder for some shine.  The sentiment is from Into the Woods.

I am adding this over at Seize the Birthday.
No topping for me this week.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Paper:  White, Black, Melon Mambo
Accessories:  Lil Stinker dies (Clearly Whimsy)

City Scapes - In the Mood

Hi everyone!
Today's card was inspired by the City Scapes Mood Board in the new Online Card Class,
 "In the Mood"!

I have been SO INSPIRED by these awesome mood boards that I have been creating like crazy.  You will see lots of cards in the coming days that were inspired by the class.  This card uses the same sketch as Maureen's amazing cards in the class.

Here is another card using the same supplies just changing it up a bit.

I used the smooshing technique again then die cut using the city scape die.  I couldn't resist adding a little bike (from PTI) to my card inspired by the bike on the dress in the photo.  ;)

Hope to see you in class!

Color Washed - In the Mood

Hi everyone!
Today's card was inspired by the Color Washed Mood Board in the new Online Card Class,
 "In the Mood"!
I absolutely LOVE this mood board and was totally inspired.
The feathers, the colors, the water coloring and the cut apart sentiment on one of the photos.
 Just awesome!

You will want to check out this class if you haven't already!  It is awesome!

I used the ink smooshing technique on my main panel.  Stamped the feather from PTI then ran it through my Big Shot using the Pointelle: Cover Up die from Lil' Inker Designs.  The sentiment is also from PTI.
