BALLOON LETTER BIRTHDAY COVER PLATE!!!

 

Hi friends!  I had some fun playing with the Balloon Letter Birthday Cover Plate die the other day.  I die cut the cover plate from a piece of white card stock and then did some ink blending over top, but I put another piece of white card stock under the die cut piece so I could make a second card.  It’s fun using cover plate dies as stencils.

I added a die cut sentiment from The Ton.

Here’s the second card I created using the cover plate as a stencil.  To add a bit more dimension to this card, I ran it through my Big Shot using the embossing pad with the cover plate die to make outlines on the letters.  It looks so cool in real life. 

So fun, right?!!!

Hi friends!  I’m back today with another card using the Big Splash Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I used the two new ink colors, Sweetheart & Pistachio and added in Cummerbund as the third color.  

I love this stencil for a background and the flamingo inner tube is a perfect accent.  I had to add a little party hat to the flamingo too!!

I love all of the patterns in the Big Splash patterned paper pack and wanted to use this pattern as the star of my card.  I cut three strips and adhered them to a die cut rectangle.  

I stamped a sentiment from the Sunny Birthday Sentiments stamp set on a die cut circle and added that to my card using foam tape.  I attached a twine bow over top and that finishes off this super simple card.

I love the Balloon Letter Birthday Cover plate die.  It’s so easy to create a fun birthday card using this die.  Do some ink blending over top the die cut or over your panel and then die cut.  So fun!!!

How fun are these Having a Ball layered stencils?!  I love it so much!  The happy birthday sentiment is from the Sunny Birthday Sentiments stamp set.  I embossed it using silver embossing powder.
