CASE study #150

Hi friends.  Sorry for the lack of posting.  It has been hot and humid here and it has seemed to zap my energy along with my creative thinking.  :)  We also had our nephew visiting for a few days so I spent my time with the kids.  Here is my card for the CASE study challenge.  I LOVED Jocelyn's card when she first posted it a while back and knew I had to play along.  Here is Jocelyn's card.

My sketch was inspired by this card by Maureen!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!  It is another hot, humid day here so we will be spending the afternoon at the pool.

Cardstock:  Kraft (PTI)
Ink:  Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate chip, Versamark
Stamps:  Rounded Diamonds (Avery Elle), Sentiment Sampler (Paper Smooches)
Accessories:  Circle Die, Banner trio die (Wplus9), Rhinestones, White embossing powder

  1. I know what you mean by "too hot to craft". It's been hot and humid here, too. I love this card. It seems I remember something like this from the His and Hers online class, right?

  5. Wonderful card. Love the fab teardrop shapes in those summertime colors. Hot & humid here too. Thank goodness for AC! I can only garden about 20 minutes at a time. This card is great and a real tribute to the Jocelyn's card. Bev

  12. Oh wow, this is fantastic! It may be "CAS" technically, but there's a depth in it that defies description, especially since I can't figure out how you did it. :) Is that a single tear drop stamp, or a quatrefoil? Whateve it is,I love the white stamped over the colors. This reminds me of the old NBC peacock logo, remember it? This is such a cool card! TFS, Julia-style! :D

  13. Hey Kristie - no need to apologize for lack of posting! It is summer and summer rule #1 applies "spend the summer hours with the kids". Rule #7 also might work here..."if energy is sapped from heat or humidity, one should not craft, but instead retire to a cool room with a nice cool beverage and chil."

Beautiful card! Gorgeous colors, gorgeous design - love how the banner covers just a wee bit of the bottom part of the punched cirlce!
